How Wuber works.
Wuber connects you with licensed waste carriers near you and holds your payment safely until the job is done properly. Here's the whole journey, start to finish.
- STEP 01
Describe your waste
Add photos, list the items and give us a rough weight. The more we can see, the more accurate the prices you'll get back.
- STEP 02
Carriers quote your job
Your job goes out to licensed waste carriers working in your area. They set their own price — Wuber never sets it for them. Where an instant price is available, you can book a live time slot straight away.
- STEP 03
Accept and pay securely
Pick the quote you like. Your payment is taken and held safely — the carrier doesn't receive it yet.
- STEP 04
Collection day
You'll see who's coming and when. Track them on the way, and they'll load and remove everything you listed.
- STEP 05
Waste transfer note & release
The carrier uploads your waste transfer note proving the waste went to a registered site. Once you confirm you're happy, the money is released to them.
Common questions
How much does it cost?
There's no fixed price list — carriers quote for your specific job based on the photos and items you list, so you see real prices rather than an estimate.
When is my money taken?
For a carrier quote, your payment is held safely as soon as you accept, and only released once the waste has gone and you've confirmed you're happy. For an instant booked slot, you pay in full up front so the slot can be reserved.
What if I'm not happy with the collection?
Don't confirm the job. Email neil@wuberapp.com and we'll step in before any money is released to the carrier.
Are the collectors licensed?
Yes. Every carrier on Wuber has to provide their waste carrier licence and vehicle details before they can quote, and you get a waste transfer note for every collection.
Where do you operate?
Across the UK. Each carrier sets their own travel radius, so the prices you see are from teams that genuinely cover your postcode.
