Carrier Terms & Conditions
Version 2.0 — last updated 21/09/2026
Summary
- Wuber deducts 18% from each job payment as a brokerage/commission fee.
- You set your own prices; the customer must accept your quote before payment is taken.
- You must hold a valid waste carrier registration.
1. Job commission
For every job you complete through the Wuber platform, Wuber retains 18% of the gross amount paid by the customer. The remaining 82% is released to you once the customer confirms the collection and a valid waste transfer note has been uploaded.
2. Pricing
You decide what to charge for each collection. The customer sees your full quote and accepts it before any money is authorised. You may not add hidden fees after the quote is accepted unless the customer agrees to a material change in the job.
3. Legal requirements
You must keep your waste carrier registration valid at all times. You must upload a waste transfer note for every collection so the customer has proof of legal disposal. Any carrier found disposing of waste illegally, fly-tipping, or otherwise breaching waste duty-of-care rules will be struck off the Wuber app with immediate effect and may be reported to the relevant environment regulator. Wuber may suspend your account if your registration expires or is found to be invalid.
4. Payments & payouts
Customer payments are held securely until the job is marked complete. Payouts are made to the bank account details you provide, less the 18% commission. You are responsible for your own tax, National Insurance, and any other obligations arising from work carried out through Wuber.
5. Accepting the terms
You must tick the box on the carrier sign-up screen to confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. Wuber will not activate carrier features on your account without this acceptance.
